Promotional film idea and evaluation

After a discussion with the client the conclusion was that the first idea which was using rotoscoping to create a sketchbook feel journey through time.

The client really like the idea however did have some critiques, for example he wanted the story shown in the advert to be more emotive. I have came up with a solution for this and have incorporated the narrative idea of a shilling, the idea is that this shilling moves from scene to scene linking them together and making the story feel more personal to the character in the story, when the shilling reaches the end of the advert it will be taped into the book.

The client wanted more connection with the product so to do that I changed the ending message on the script.

Budget
The client said that the budgeting of the advert seemed very reasonable for what we were trying to create. With the majority of the video going into animation it means that we are looking at a around £2000 to go into the ending scene which is IRL, to save money we could use one of my cameras which record in 1080p however since we have the budget we could rent a higher resolution camera such as a 4k camera and since we are only using it for this scene it probably wouldn't cost that much and would probably help the animators since when animating over the final scene they will be working on a much larger resolution. I still believe that around £12,500 is a fairly reasonable budget for the advert.
